The Opioid Crisis Practical Toolkit:

Helping Faith-Based and Community Leaders Bring Hope and Healing

Christians can provide help and access to resources for those struggling with opioids and other addictions. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Center for Faith and Opportunity Initiatives has a resource titled “The Opioid Crisis Practical Toolkit: Helping Faith-Based and Community Leaders Bring Hope and Healing” that provides practical guidelines for congregations to start or advance an action plan to meet the needs of families and individuals struggling with addiction in their own communities.
